Hon. Bangsi Emmanuel from the Boyo constituency in the North West Region has resigned from the Social Democratic Front (SDF) The former Member of Parliament of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) of the 2002 to 2007 legislative period of the National Assembly who is from the Boyo Constituency in the North West Region has said he is resigning from the
SDF. Talking to Cameroon Tribune in Yaounde yesterday, July 14, Bangsi Emmanuel said, ??I have decided to resign from the Social Democratic Front to support the Head of State, President Paul Biya, Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang and the ideals of the New Deal government??. Mr Bangsi disclosed that he did not run for the primaries of the 2007 legislative election seeking re-election on the SDF ticket. This was probably because he had started admiring President Biya??s ??greater ambitions?? programme intended to improve the living conditions of Cameroonians. ??I am resigning to support President Biya??s political philosophy of lofty ambitions for Cameroon??, he explained. Stating that he has many followers who expected him to the take the lead in declaring support for the Head of State, Bangsi Emmanuel said, ??my message is that if the Boyo people have to be effective players in the national stage, they have to double their support for His Excellency President Paul Biya and the New Deal government??.
