Rapporteur and Jean Foumane Akam, Technical Adviser at the Presidency, as council secretary, examined a number of issues that directly affect the life of the magistracy profession in the country. Other Substantive members who participated in the session were: Brigitte Mebande; Hubert Nkolo Menye ; Basile YagaÏ ; Frédéric Moche Fayeu; Lucy Asuagbor; and Albert Ekono Nna.Talking to reporters at the end of the meeting, the Minister of State, Laurent Esso, pointed out inter alia that council members handled ??disciplinary files of some magistrates, absorption into the magistracy of new professionals, promotion and transfers.??
