The hallmark was the presence of Cameroon??s Prime Minister, Philemon Yang at the swearing in ritual of Senegal??s new Head of State, Macky Sall.From the courtesy visit came an invitation letter from the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Kamel Amr to Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo. The Egyptian Ambassador to Cameroon, Ibrahim Moustapha Hafez on behalf of his Foreign Affairs Minister invited Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo to participate in the Bureau of the Non-alignment Movement to take place from May 9 to 10, 2012 in Egypt.
A balance sheet of Sino-Cameroon relations was reviewed between the Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon, Xue Jinwei and Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo. Both parties reviewed giant projects ongoing in the country while projecting into the future. ??We have agreed to cooperate in the domains of infrastructure and agriculture,?? Xue Jinwei said, adding that they are ready to improve the living conditions of Cameroonians through the provision of potable water and the construction of schools.
The curtain for the separate audiences was drawn by the Ambassador of Austria to Cameroon with residence in Abuja, Nigeria, Stefan Scholz. He expressed satisfaction on the interest shown by some members of the Austrian delegation that was in Cameroon some time ago. Stefan Scholz revealed that some Austrian businessmen have decided to pay another visit in the country to concretise contacts and opportunities especially in the domain of agriculture.
