The President of the Cameroon Athletics Federation pulls backThe President of the Cameroon Athletics Federation has retracted after announcing that athletes competing in the 2010 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope will not cover the same distance as has been in the past. He argued that the move was intended to meet international standards. The decision met with very fierce opposition from athletes and other sports lovers. The President gave-in and assured the population that the race shall be organized as before.
