The Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr. Madeleine Tchuinte has launched the recruitment of 173 Researchers for the 2017 financial year.
The recruitment will be done on study record. Qualified candidates must be holders of a Systems Engineer Diploma, Master of Science Degree ( Master ll) with Thesis, Post Graduate Studies ( DEA), Doctorate, PHD or any other recognized equivalent Diploma.
The 173 available places have been partitioned into 68 specialties, and the general application requirements defined as follows;
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Researcher must be 30 years old at most as at 1st January 2017.
Those applying for the position of Researcher must be 35 years old at most as at 1st January 2017.
All candidates applying for a post above that of an Assistant Researcher must show proof that they are currently occupying an equivalent position as a Researcher or lecturer of a state institution in a foreign city , holder of a Terminal Degree in Higher Education and a scientific production equivalent to the one in Cameroon.
Applications from state employees ( Civil Servants or contract employees) shall not be allowed.
According to the release, the complete application file shall comprise a list of 14 documents.
Candidates are expected to submit their complete application files at the mail service of the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation or at the Ministry’s regional Centers latest Friday 26th January 2018.
The minister further warns applicants that documents not certified by a competent civil, municipal or legal authority dating more than three months, incomplete files, late files or files signed by the police shall be rejected.
