The latest FIFA ranking was released yester-day October 17 with Cameroon gaining two places both in the world and continental classifications. Cameroon moved from the 61st to the 59th position on the world ran-king and from the 12th to the 10th position on the continent. There was no change at the helm of the table with Spain still occupying the first position, followed by Germany and Argentina respectively.
The first team on the African continent remains Côte d’Ivoire, 17th in the world after gaining two places equally. Ghana is the second country on the continent and 23rd on the world after gaining one place. Algeria the third country in Africa has contrarily lost four places on the world ranking and now occupies the 32nd position. The next FIFA ranking will be released on November 28, 2013.
