LG QNED MiniLED TVs with 8K screen released in West Africa

The new TVs feature exclusive Quantum Dot NanoCell technology for authentic color reproduction and maximum viewer immersion.

ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast, August 16, 2022 -/African Media Agency (AMA)/- LG Electronics (LG) has begun rolling out its latest range of high-end LCD TVs in Francophone markets across East Africa. West. Thanks to LG's color Quantum Dot NanoCell and Mini LED technologies, TVs released in 2022 deliver a stunning viewing experience with deeper blacks, more accurate color reproduction with more contrast and brightness. The lineup consists of the QNED8 and QNED99 95K series models, in screen sizes ranging from a roomy 65-inch to a colossal 86-inch.

The larger the screen, the more discreet the details must be. The LG QNED Mini LED TV incorporates smaller LEDs in the backlight compared to other screens of similar size, which increases brightness and dimming areas. For example, LG's 8-inch 86K TV (model 86QNED99UPA) is backlit by approximately 30 LEDs arranged to create approximately 000 local dimming zones to deliver 2 times the contrast ratio of conventional LCD TVs. Deeper blacks and greater detail in dark areas create an increased sense of depth that makes images look more realistic.

LG's commitment to a better future is evident in its new TV products. LG QNED Mini LED TVs have received Eco-Product certification from SGS Societe Generale de Surveillance SA of Switzerland. This certification is only granted to products that meet SGS requirements to standards that include low environmental impact or recyclability.
