The verdict on the case of embezzlement of public funds, and involving the former Cameroonian Minister of Defense, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo'o et cie, has just fallen. The case had been under deliberation since yesterday morning at the Special Criminal Court (TCS) in Yaoundé. His verdict has just fallen on the night of February 1, 2023.

Here are the sentences:

Edgard Alain MEBE NGO'O: 30 years in prison;

Bernadette MEBE NGO'O (wife of MEBE NGO'O): 10 years in prison;

COLONEL Ghislain MBOUTOU ELLE: 25 years in prison;

Maxime MBANGUE: 25 years in prison;

Victor MENYE: 09 years in prison
