Cameroon – Anglophone Crisis: Ambazonia Fighters Set GHS Bafut Car Ablaze, Leave Warning Message

The service car of Government High School, GHS Bafut in Mezam division, North West Region of Cameroon has been partially burnt after unknown men stormed the campus Tuesday night threatening to bring down the whole building.
According to the Security Guard on duty, the men were heavily armed; their weapons frightened him leaving him with no choice than to take cover so that he could not be tight up or shot to death.
The boys suspected to be Ambazonia fighters use fuel to set ablaze the school vehicle parked in the garage, the entire bunnet has been reduced to ashes; meanwhile they also set some documents at the administrative block on fire.
At the entrance of the Administrative building, is written “NO SCHOOL IN AMBA.”
GHS Bafut is situated in Mankaha about 150M to the Bafut Palace. The entire population was left in shock Wednesday and has been asking questions on the whereabouts of two elements of Mobil Intervention Battalion, BIR, who used to spend the night there.
Elsewhere in Belo, Boyo Division in the North West Region, the Gendarme sources have revealed that “Amigo”, the name of an Ambazonia Commander in Belo subdivision has been neutralized by Military in Mile 4, Bamenda.
The source also indicates that a BIR element that deserted the Military, planning to disrupt May 20, has been napped in Wum, Menchum Division.
In Ediki, the wife of the Commander of the Bamenda Military Airbase has been kidnapped and the abductors are demanding a whooping sum of FCFA 5 000 000.
